It’s been a while since we’ve done our last mood board, but we’re back and just in time for SPOOKY SEASON!

With this mood board, I didn’t want to only inspire your fashion sense but also give you ideas on fun things to do this month. But first, let’s talk fashion.
Now that the autumn chill has arrived it’s time to bust out the sweaters and layers. Cable knit sweaters look good on anyone and are not only super comfy and cute but will also keep you warm on cold days. Some great fall colors I suggest shopping for is a mustard yellow, an olive green, or even a burgundy.
Another fall fashion staple is plaid. Once it hits below sixty everybody and their grandmas start wearing the same plaid button up, the only difference is the color. So I challenge you to wear plaid in a more unconventional sense. Rock a plaid skirt or scarf. Maybe try some plaid shoes or a blazer or jacket. There’s nothing wrong with the plaid button up but why not be a little adventurous and try something new.
This season animal prints are leaving the jungle and making their way to the streets. Animal print was popular on the catwalks for the 2018 fall/winter season. Wearing animal print is a fun way to stand out and be bold. Your animal inspired piece can range from a shirt, a coat, or a pair of flats. And the prints aren’t only for the ladies, guys can rock a good leopard, snake, or zebra print if they want to too. When you wear your print be sure everything else about your outfits is simple and understated so you don’t end up looking like you belong on Animal Planet. Whatever you decide to wear be sure to bundle up and wear layers to stay warm because no one likes dealing with a cold!
Have Fun with Friends!
October is the perfect month to go out with friends or your special someone to the pumpkin patch or corn maze or a hayride and get some cute pics together. It’s no longer sweltering out and it’s cool enough that you aren’t bundled up and freezing but just that right temp that you can ask to cuddle if need be and who doesn’t love cuddling (especially with a cutie)? If the outdoors isn’t your thing, stay inside and get cozy with all your blankets and watch a Halloween classic like Hocus Pocus and Halloweentown or horror flicks like Scream and Nightmare on Elm Street.
I know some of us are sad summer and the warm weather are gone, but October and fall have so much to offer. Hopefully, this mood board gets you in the mood to appreciate it.
